ABOUT FULL FACE MASKS
Full face mask respirators are mask bodies that can be combined as needed with particulate filters, gas filters and combination filters. In contrast to half masks, full face masks include a viewing panel and cover the entire face. Since full face masks enable a very tight fit, they can be used to protect against higher concentrations of harmful substances. They also protect the eyes.
WEARING COMFORT OF FULL FACE MASKS
In order that full face respirator masks - also known as gas masks - are worn consistently and willingly by users, it is important they are designed to be as comfortable as possible. Moldex full face masks offer additional comfort features including an anatomically designed sealing lip made from soft TPE and a large panorama lens for almost unrestricted vision. Moldex facepieces are designed to be comfortably lightweight without compromises on durability or processing quality.
PUTTING ON A FULL FACE MASK
In order for full face masks to offer reliable protection, the fit must be completely secure. For this to be the case, it is important to choose the right size of mask body. Facepieces can be purchased in S, M and L to suit the face size of the respective user. When adjusting the straps, the user must ensure that the full face mask is sitting tightly against the face. Facial hair such as beards and moustaches impair the fit of full face masks; similarly, users with long hair should ensure that no hair becomes trapped between their face and the mask. For glasses wearers, there is a special holder that can be used in Moldex full face masks to enable them to be worn simultaneously.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION FILTERS FOR FULL FACE MASKS
Moldex full face masks can be used with all EasyLock® respiratory protection filters with bayonet connections. The benefit of this filter system is that it is easy to install gas and particulate filters to the mask body - or to combine them as needed - without the need for an adapter. This ensures a high degree of flexibility and easy storage. It is also possible to buy mask bodies designed for use with respiratory protection filters featuring EN 148-1 screw connections.
